Who doesn’t love a reason to dance with your friends and neighbors? Boogie is back and taking place on the MCPA Block for the first time ever right here on our Festival Grounds! Join us for live music, libations, food and FUN!
Celebrate the beginning of summer with friends and neighbors in the heart of Downtown Findlay. Boogie on the Block is Findlay’s largest community block party.
Held annually on the first Friday of June, the community has come to rely on this event to kick off the warm weather season! Over the decades, Boogie has been held in a couple of different locations, and this year, we are excited to bring it to MCPA’s Festival Grounds.
On deck to rock the stage at this year’s event will be The Wet Bandits and returning this summer are the stars of yacht rock, The Docksiders. Attendees enjoy live music, libations, and delicious food vendors.

Adults: $5, Children 12 & under: $3, Children in strollers get in FREE!
Where are the event entrances located?
Entrances are located off of Front St. and W. Main Cross St.
Where can I park?
MCPA is surrounded by free public parking lots that will be accessible during the event.
Can I use a credit card at the event?
Credit/debit cards will be accepted at admissions and to purchase drink tickets. Individual food vendors may or may not accept credit cards.
Can I leave and come back?
Yes. All people entering the event will be given a wristband that will permit you to leave and re-enter throughout the evening.
Will there be food vendors?
Is this event appropriate for all ages?
Yes! The entertainment is appropriate for all ages.
Can I bring my own food & drinks?
No. All food and drinks must be purchased within the event. It is illegal to bring alcohol into the event.
Can I bring in my DORA drink? Or leave with my drink?
No. You must finish your DORA drink before entering the event space. DORA cups will be available if you would like to leave the event space with your alcoholic beverage.
Can I bring in a cooler for water and non-alcoholic drinks?
No. All beverages must be purchased within the event. There is a booth designated for only water and pop sales.
Can I bring my own chairs?
Yes. There will be some seating available, but you can bring your own chairs as well.
Will there be any shaded areas in the parking lot?
There will be one big tent near the food and kid zone to offer shade before the sun goes down. Additionally, the MCPA building will be open for cooling off and restroom use.
Can Boogie be canceled due to bad weather?
Yes. MCPA will make that determination by noon on the day of the event.
