The Spitfire Grill

Event Details

Music and book by James Valcq, lyrics and book by Fred Alley, based on the 1996 film by Lee David Zlotoff. A recently paroled young woman arrives in rural Wisconsin based on the glowing description she found in an old travel guide. She is initially greeted with suspicion by the locals, but goes on to find meaningful work, a local mystery, and a found family. Featuring soulful folk music, The Spitfire Grill is a heartwarming and inspirational tale of redemption.
