10th Anniversary Gala

Join us for a night to remember as we celebrate ten years of Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. The 10th Anniversary Gala unites friends, donors, and community partners for an evening of elegance, live music, fine dining, and a show-stopping performance by Broadway legend Brian Stokes Mitchell.

This milestone event honors a decade of creativity, community, and the countless stories that have come to life on our stage.
 

Two Ways to Celebrate

The Full Gala Experience
Enjoy the complete evening: cocktails, dinner, and the exclusive performance by Brian Stokes Mitchell.

  • 5:30 PM – Cocktail hour and dinner in Armes Hall
  • 7:30 PM – Performance in Donnell Theater
  • Tickets: $200 per person or $1,500 for a table of eight
    Includes pre-show drinks, dinner catered by The Bistro, and premium seating for the performance.

Concert Only
Experience the performance and pre-show celebrations without dinner.

  • 7:30 PM – Performance in Donnell Theater
  • Tickets: $100 per person
    Includes access to pre-concert activities in the atrium and reserved seating for the show.

About Brian Stokes Mitchell

Dubbed “The Last Leading Man” by The New York Times, Brian Stokes Mitchell is a Tony Award–winning baritone whose voice and charisma have graced Broadway, concert halls, and television screens for more than three decades. Known for starring roles in RagtimeKiss Me, KateMan of La Mancha, and Shuffle Along, Stokes combines timeless showmanship with heartfelt artistry. His concerts celebrate the power of song to inspire, uplift, and connect—making him the perfect performer to mark MCPA’s 10th anniversary.

When is the Gala?

Saturday, January 17, 2026.

  • Full Gala Experience: Cocktails at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner and the performance
  • Concert Only: Performance begins at 7:30 PM

Where is the event held?

Dinner will be served in Armes Hall.
The performance takes place on the Palmer Stage in Donnell Theater.

What should I wear?

Formal or cocktail attire is encouraged.
