The University of Findlay presents the 1998 revival version of Kander and Ebb’s Tony Award-winning musical, Cabaret.

The year is 1929. The place, Berlin. Willkommen, bienevene, welcome...to the Kit Kat Club, where the Emcee, Sally Bowles and a raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd––and to leave their troubles outside. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Come hear some of the most memorable songs in theatre history, including “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Two Ladies.”

Music is by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Joe Masteroff; based on the play I Am a Camera by John van Druten and The Berlin Stories by Christopher Isherwood. Cabaret is presented by arrangement with TAMS-WHITMARK. (www.tamswitmark.com)
