The Findlay Civic Choir will present a special concert, America the Beautiful, celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence. This inspiring program will feature patriotic choral works that reflect the nation's history, ideals, and enduring spirit.

Highlights of the concert include Randall Thompson's The Testament of Freedom, a powerful work based on the writings of Thomas Jefferson that celebrates liberty, democracy, and the American experience. The program will also feature beloved patriotic selections that honor the rich musical and cultural heritage of the United States.

Adding an international dimension to the celebration, distinguished Czech guest conductor Marek Valášek will lead the choir in a selection of contemporary Czech choral works. These pieces will offer audiences a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Czech choral music while highlighting the cultural connections and friendships that transcend national borders.
