Join us for an uplifting afternoon of choral music as the University of Findlay's Concert-Chorale and University Singers present a powerful concert centered on the theme Gloria.

The featured work of the program is Gloria by Francis Poulenc, one of the twentieth century's most celebrated choral masterpieces. Poulenc, a leading French composer, composed this joyful and dramatic setting of the Latin liturgical text in 1959-60. The work is known for its brilliant orchestration, lyrical beauty, and striking contrasts of exuberance, reverence, and reflection.

In addition to Poulenc's Gloria, the Concert-Chorale and University Singers will perform a diverse selection of choral works, spanning a variety of musical styles and traditions, celebrating the beauty, joy, and expressive power of the choral art. The choirs will be under the direction of Dr. SeaHwa Jung, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Findlay.
